FOR THE SAFETY OF EVERY DOG IN OUR CARE AND IN OUR COMMUNITY.
The health, safety, and well-being of your pets is of the utmost importance to all of us at Companions Grooming. We take precautions to protect your pets such as cleaning our facilities and tools with veterinary-grade disinfectant, using bleach when laundering towels used to dry pets, and keeping all pets separated. We REQUIRE all pets to be vaccinated for Rabies, DAPP, and Bordatella, and clients attest to their pets being up-to-date on vaccines in the consent form signed by all.
Given the current uptick in respiratory infections being reported in various states in the country, we feel it necessary to assure our clients that we do everything possible to protect their pets while they are in our care. However, even if an animal is vaccinated against Bordatella or Canine Influenza, it is still possible to be infected.
Considering how much is yet unknown about the current respiratory illness, we STRONGLY encourage you to be very aware of how your pets are feeling and if they show any signs of illness to isolate your pet and contact your veterinarian immediately. If your pet shows any signs of illness, DO NOT bring them for grooming.
At the sole discretion of Companions Grooming, we reserve the right to refuse service to any pet showing signs of illness. We will continue to stay up to date on the most current information available about this situation and update any policies as necessary.
